I have been discovering a lot of great new blogs recently. I am of the opinion the jury is still out about all the twitter flap. I still savour blogs and have a huge number in my feed reader.
The point with blogs is that you can find hidden treasures, and they are from people that actually like to can string more than a few words togther.
Sure you can discover some swanky individuals on twitter. But, seriously, twitter is for masses with add or who dont like to write longer posts. Yes, dozens of people twitter and also blog, and those people are stylish by me, but I am always and always a blog devotee.
Blogs drive the author to really articluate their notion. Twitter alternatively merely allows you to posit it. Call me old fashioned but I believe there is a point where smaller is no longer sweeter. We have been obsessed with miniturization for so long. Peculiarly when it comes to technology. Certainly there has to be a level where we recognise substance matters. Value matters. What do you believe?
Maybe the true answer dwells in balance. And compromise. You cannot squeeze individuals to have heart and soul and not be shallow. But, too maybe you need to force the navel gazing hippies to lighten up a fraction aswell?
